Port Dues shall be paid by all vessels entering Port. The charges shall be raised on gross registered tonnage of the vessel as follows:-

1. For the first 5 days or part thereof 10.00 2.25

2. For each successive 5 days period or part thereof 6.00 1.35

3. Vessels coming for bunkering, water and or stores

     pay half of the rates in items 1&2 above

4. (a) Ships entering port on account of stress such as bad weather of mutinous crews or disabled or for medical assistance shall be charged no port dues for the first 48 hours after their arrival

(b) For any period above 48 hours stay, such vessels will pay half the normal

rates specified under Items 1 and 2 above

The privilege under item 4(a) will be accorded at the sole discretion of Management

5. Ships calling for slipping or dry docking shall pay half the rates specified in Items 1 and 2 above.

6. Pleasure crafts over 30 grt equipped with mechanical means of propulsion shall pay:-

Thereafter, per 5 days period or part thereof 2.50 0.60

7. Vessels may opt to pay in advance for a calendar year an annual port due equivalent to 10 five-day visits. Should such vessels make more or less visits than paid for in advance, no adjustment shall be made on the advance payment.

EXEMPTION FROM PORT DUES

8. The following vessels are exempted from payment of Port Dues:-

(a) Warships of all friendly nations and government vessels not engaged on trading voyage.

(b) Vessels lying in outer anchorage for the purpose of landing or embarking/disembarking passengers and mail only. However, should such vessels load or discharge cargo, port dues at normal rates specified under Item 1 and 2 above become payable.
