CLAUSE 21: BAGGAGE ATTENDANTS’ CHARGES

Licensed Baggage Attendants are authorised to make the following charges:-
1. (a) An inclusive fee as below for all services performed in the port area relative to the baggage of passengers from or to ships:
US$ 2.00 per package, with a minimum of US$ 3.00 and a maximum of US$ 10.00
(b) In additional to the foregoing charges, where passengers' baggage is conveyed to shore from a ship lying in the stream (or vice versa) the following shall be charged:

2. Double the charges prescribed above may be charged between the hours of 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.
3. The baggage attendant and his employees are not to be included as passengers in the charge made.
4. Charges in respect of passengers' baggage as prescribed in Clause 20 shall also apply.
5. Motor car hire is a charge personally incurred by the passenger concerned and is not included in the Baggage Attendants' authorised charges.
