1. Containers handled at the Dar es Salaam Container Terminal (DCT) shall be levied the following charges:-

Upto 20ft Over 20ft

(i) Stevedoring FCL 80 120

(ii) Stevedoring LCL 160 255

(iii) Stevedoring Empty 40 60

(iv) Shifting containers 100 200

2. NOTE

(a) Stevedoring of LCL containers include charges for transfer to ICD/Stripping sites plus stripping charges.

(b) In addition to the above charges, a flat rate of US$ 500.00 per Gang per shift shall apply where work has been requested and performed during 3rd Shift, Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.

(c) All the above charges shall be on the account of the carrier.

(d) Export containerised cargo shall attract FCL rates

(e) Dangerous cargo containers shall attract 20% surcharge on rates 1(i),

(ii) and (iv)

(f) Over-dimension containers shall attract a surcharge of 30%.
