SUMATRA ORDER NO. SMTRA/03/ 2013 FORMARINE SERVICES AND SHIP DUES FOR SEA PORTS
Tanzania Ports Authority (TPA) wishes to inform the General Public and all its esteemed Customers that on 21st May, 2012 an Application for tariff review for Marine Services and Ship Dues for sea ports was submitted to the Surface and Marine Transport Regulatory Authority (SUMATRA). This Application was also tabled for public hearing as required by Section 18 of the SUMATRA Act at the Stakeholders’ meetings held on 25th July, 2012 in Dar es Salaam and on 10th August, 2012 in Tanga.In view of this Application and taking into account the need to ensure improved quality of ports and shipping services for TPA’s customers, the Board of SUMATRA at its 70th Special Board Meeting held on 2nd February, 2013 in Dar es Salaam
